Is there a way to move / remove the blinking red box?

I'm talking about the one that appears around your player window when you have autoattack on.



Is there an EQType for this? Can I have it around another window (say, target?) or remove it altogether?

Someone did it. It was a bluish UI and it was around target. I can't remember who though look back a few pgs.

yes. just swap your playerinfo window contents with the target window. Well, its a little more complicated than that but thats what ya basically end up doing.

I did it for awhile with my VS meter, but got rid of it (was very distracting). You could also put Player into into the group window and just turn off the player window.



Be careful not to duplicate item names. Player window MUST have a PetHP gauge in it or it won't load, and Group must have the Invite/Disband buttons.

I noticed that. I moved the butons offscreen, /sigh.



Seems odd how they require certain pieces to be in certain windows.



They should make the blinking red box an EQtype that you can change more easily.

Are there any mods that make it really obvious when you are attacking something? I forget to switch out my assist-button with my solo attack-button sometimes...

well, the player box starts blinking red when you are in combat. You can swap the boxes so that the target box blinks red. I doubt that will help you remember to hit autoattack tho :P
