View Full Version : Are Decimal Points in HP/MANA/XP/AAXP% possible in XML

With the recent interest in finding out just how much XP/AAXP is gained per mob it would be very useful if the XP% figure could display 2 or 3 decimal points of data also. I have had a quick look through my playerwindow mod at the Player_ExpPercentage label but don't see an easy way of specifying this.
Does anyone who uses XML know of a way to display this info, or is it possible that the sever is sending the client only an integer value?

and the client doesn't get updates that fast that it would be worthwhile to be seeing the tenths anyways.

I've been looking at the XML a little - is there anywhere I can find information on how to add just the XP% to the interface? Its really confusing.
nm - I figured it out. Really hard to find clear information on the UI yet though.

For testing purposes it would be very useful to find out Decimal points of accuracy. Even if you had to kill a mob and camp or zone. It allows a greater degree of accuracy to be used as a benchmark.

hell, why don't they just give us some numbers, and tell us how much exp we get when we kill something.

Like DAoC and most rpgs? That would be ok...be the numbers would be HUGE by the time you get 55+. 1pt for a large rat, 2 for a fire beetle. 5 for an orc in EC, 10 for a bandit in NRo. . . . . . 120940237 for a lizard in CT, 1181723838178382172827182873228 for an uber mob....

An average lvl 50 mob gives about 250,000 XP. There are a lot of new factors since the patch that are still being worked out but this gives you an idea of the scale of magnitude. For reference a lvl 1 mob gives about 100 XP.

What I'd like to see is math.
Like, something that would calculate your max mana via int/wis, multiply it by your mana percent, and show the approximate numerical mana you have =)
