Alas, in my search for fish I can stand to eat, this has been suggested to me the most. So, anyone have any 'Sekrit' recipes?

Try it battered and deep fried like he said.

If you like that you can move up to broiling it with some garlic butter or something like that, heheh.

Baby steps =P

Actually, Talapia is a great chowder fish! Talapia is a very non-fishy fish and therefore usually tends to take on the properties of its ingredients. I will post a chowder recipe when I get back home but if you want a good baked Talapia...

Place Talapia filet on Tinfoil(enough to wrap and cover filet)
sprinkle with Old Bay (Don't be shy..use a good 1/2 tsp per filet)
sprinkle with a pinch of Dill
splash on some lemon juice and a little lemon zest (get the zest by scraping the outside yellow off the lemon peal)

Pre-heat oven to 325. Completly wrap the talapia in the foil. Fold the edges of foil so there is no spilage. Cook for 18-22 min (depending on thickness of filet). Should fall apart easy with a fork when done.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll keep an eye out for your chowder recipe. I do alot of stuff in the crockpot so hopefully that will be something I can use in that manner.
