Ripostes and Blocks and Dodges, oh my!

Ever since I switched to the new UI, I can't see my dodges, blocks and ripostes, although I do see the mob missing me. I don't mind less spam, but I am worried that one of these days I won't see the mob turn on me until too late. Besides, when the other night we were in CS doing Wyverns and I grabbed agro just for kicks, the MT complimented me on my ability to avoid hits and I didn't know whether I should say "Oh, yes, that's pretty normal" or "Nah, just a lucky streak" <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">



Am I doing something wrong? I have the main window reserved for chatting, then another window right next to it for the mob's hits and misses (full text), another one for my hits and misses (abbreviated) and yet another one for other's hits (but not misses). How would I go about sending the blocks/dodges/ripostes to my "Defense" window? TIA!

You are not alone. I have seen the same thing and I just figured block, riposte, etc messages were removed, whether on purpose or accidentally. I still hear the block sound effect, but no message is displayed. No idea if dodge and riposte still work or not.

Are you sure mobs misses are on normal??

Misses need to be on normal hit mode for rispostes and blocks and dogdes to appear. abbreviated you hear the "THUD" but it still says the %t missed. That's what I get on my UI.
